Bachelor of Computing in Computer Science with Honours and Minor in Business Management •July 2023
Currently studying in NUS with a CAP of 4.22/5. At my time in NUS, I have completed important modules like data structures and algorithms, introduction to Artifical Intelligence as well as software engineering. I have been able to apply this knowledge in the real world through my internships. During my time at NUS, I have been heavily invloved with volunteering as well as assuming leadership roles at leadership positions in the NUS Indian Cultural Society.
International Baccalaureate •May 2017
I scored a 43/45 in International Baccalaureate with perfect scores in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Business Management. While I was still studying at GIIS, I used to volunteer at science center as well as for school events which taught me a lot about social interaction.
Data Science Intern• June 2020 - August 2020
At Southern Ridges Capital, I was in charge of setting up a web server to help query performance statistics for Portfolio Managers(PM). This required me to use libraries in Python like Pandas, httpServer, etc. as well as Microsoft PowerBi. My second project was to predict PM performance from their personality traits. This required me to learn about various regression models as well as apply them on python using the scikit-learn library.
Software Engineer Intern• May 2021 - August 2021
At Factorem, I was in charge of automating the capturing of defects in 3D CAD files as well as enabling the 3D viewer functionality on the Factorem website. This was in addition to my numerous other additions to the Factorem website alongside sizeable contributions to the documentation. This internship experience helped me learn python libraries and frameworks like FreeCAD, Streamlit and Plotly alongside gaining a deeper understanding of ReactJS and NodeJS.
Software Engineer Intern• May 2022 - August 2022
At VISA, I had to work on a full stack project which included frontend and backend setup, as well as use of an orchaestration tool. This required me to learn C# for the backend as well as Ansible to enable running automations on specified servers. The UI was created with jQuery and HTML in the form a wizard to provide a step by step method for users to follow when using the webpage. This internship experience helped familiarize me with software design decisions and orchestration services.
Hit me up to talk about anything ranging from coding to formula 1 to football.
